Ms. Shorranda L. Mays

Education
I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in 1998. Later, I received my master's degree from Mississippi State University in 2008.

Experience
This is my twenty-third year in education. I have been with DeSoto County Schools for seven years at Olive Branch Middle School where I taught 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts. Previously, I had taught 9th through 12th grade Language Arts at Louisville High School, including Honors, Accelerated, and AP English Literature and Composition.  I had also taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts for one year at Eiland Middle School in Louisville, MS. Five years prior I taught at Noxubee County High School in Macon, MS. There I taught 9th through 11th grade Language Arts.
