Sara Sims

Hello and welcome to German class! My name is Sara Sims, and I will be your teacher this semester. I look forward to meeting you. Before we meet, let me tell you a little about myself: I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Psychology. When I am not teaching German, I am at the dance studio teaching tap dance to children of all ages. I am also part of a local tap dance company that performs and collaborates throughout the year with other local artists in the Mid-South. I have a dog named Mo whom I love very much. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. As a graduate of Southaven High School, I was in your shoes once. I took two years of German during my time here at SHS. I know what it's like to not know a single word of the language. With enough practice, however, you can become a better speaker of the language just like me.
