I attended Horn Lake from grades K-12. Upon graduating from Horn Lake High in 2011, I enrolled in Northwest Mississippi Community College where I finished my first two years of my bachelor’s degree. After completing my time at Northwest, I transferred to the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, I completed my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. My education is ongoing and will never stop! I learn something new everyday. Currently I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership through Arkansas State University.
While going to college and earning degrees is an amazing opportunity, I learn far more from talking to my students and colleagues daily. You can never have a more real education than discussing interesting viewpoints with different people regularly.

This year I have transitioned into the Special Education department, and I will be working with the History teachers at SHS to continue to make sure that all students are included and getting the best education possible!
